For those using a private well, please notify by placing a sign in a visible area stating "Watering by Private Well"
The Utility Billing Office manages the City billing for wastewater, water, and trash service. Responsibilities include establishing new accounts, inquiries, and providing trash service information.
The Utility Billing Office hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
After hours emergency water line breaks and wastewater backup calls can be made to Dispatch at 325-356-2222.
BILLING
The City of Comanche offers many convenient ways to pay:
- By phone at (888) 291-0898 (Account number and last payment amount is required)
- At City Hall in the lobby, through the drive through, or in the 24 hour drop box
Automatic bank drafts are drafted the 5th of each month.
All bills for water services rendered by the City of Comanche, Texas, shall be billed regularly. If the bill is not paid by 5 p.m. on the due date, a 10% late penalty shall be assessed. All accounts having a balance at 5 p.m. 11 days after the due date shall be disconnected and a $50 service fee added. If the above referenced dates fall on a weekend or holiday, payment is required by 5 p.m. of the following working day. All arrears, including fees, must be paid in full prior to reconnection.
BULK TRASH PICK UP
Each week you may place up to 2 extra bags of trash out in addition to your polycart. A bulk item may be a mattress, a broken television, a chair, a box of junk, etc. Tree trimmings may be put out as your one bulk item but should be tied securely and not over 4' in length, and should not weigh over 50 pounds. No construction waste will be accepted. ALL items must be out no later than 7:00 am on your pick up day. Refrigerators, air conditioners, tires, paint cans, etc. aren't not permitted for curbside pickup.

CHIPPING SERVICES/FEES
On the second Wednesday of each month the City provides a "chipping" service to it's residents. The cost is $30.00 for the first 30 minutes and $30.00 for every 30 minutes after. Chipping fees must be paid in advance. Should chipping require more than 30 minutes, anything over 30 minutes will be billed to the customer. Brush for chipping can be no more than 3.5" in width and 6' in length. Brush cannot be placed on or near any utility meter or can. Please place as close to the curb as possible. Under no circumstance is brush allowed in alleyways.
